Help Us Spread the Word

The latest data from the American Heart Association, confirms that heart disease and stroke are responsible for one of every three deaths in the United States.  The One Million Heart campaign  aims at preventing one million heart attacks over the next five years.  We would like to be part of this effort by working hand in hand with the communities to combat this disease at the root: dietary change implementation.

We work with local churches, gyms, corporations, and country clubs to bring in our expertise in food and nutrition to teach people that changing your diet is not about reducing the portions of what causes the problem.  Adopting healthy eating habits is about eating foods that are rich in nutrients that help the body function and strengthen the immune system.  Eating healthy is about learning to develop a taste for a variety of foods seasoned with herbs, spices, and different vegetable oils (olive, grapeseed, flax, etc…).

You will be surprised how easy it is to reduce saturated fat, sodium, and sugar in your diet.

Women and Heart Attacks

Women also get heart attacks, but they are often unidagnosed Watch this video , from the American Heart Association.

If you are part of a group or community that is interested in implementing a sound weight loss program, please contact us.  We will give your organization a complimentary presentation about a topic of your choice: diabetes, heart disease, childhood obesity, or cancer.  We can also do a workshop on cooking healthy (no stove needed), mindful eating, or raising healthy children.

Together, we can make America healthier with one bite at a time.
