She studied with the best professors in the field of nutrition and biochemistry such as Richard Lord and Albert Grazia. She also studied at George Mason University in Virginia and the Ecole de Boulangerie et Patisserie in Paris, France.
Her solutions often take the form of meal programs that are nutrient dense, delicious, and personalized to satisfy each client’s needs and taste.
Raised on a Mediterranean diet, Dominique always gravitated towards wholesome foods. She started cooking with her grandmother at the age of 8 and it is from her that she learned techniques that would turn a boring vegetable into a delicious meal.
She has taught cooking courses for the Fairfax County Adult and Continuing Education Program. She also served as the in-house nutritionist for several fitness clubs. Dominique has also helped restaurants create healthy and gluten free menus.
In the last 8 years, Zizania programs have helped many people manage type II diabetes, put lupus in remission, manage fibromyalgia, and help cancer patients manage symptoms of chemotherapy and focus on a preventative nutrition therapy.
